The Finalish Stop for the Blog Tour

How's that for a definitive title? The amazing Camy Tang posts an excerpt of The Familiar Stranger on Camy's Loft. There are some interesting comments already ... and a hopefully interesting response from me.

I know I've talked frequently about how much I love my critique group, The Redeemed Writers. Here's a post from member Miriam Cheney that gives a great run down on us all. You might find some new blogs to follow!

My friends (though only known online), Johnathan and Dana McCall are in Tanzania with Wycliffe. They recently celebrated the a Scripture dedication in a rural village. Seven books of the Bible were presented to the people: Ruth, Jonah, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Mark. Look at these pictures and think about this: never before had they been able to read the Bible in their own language, Vwanji!

AWESOME!

This is so exciting, Christina. We love Wycliffe, and have some friends who've translated the New Testament for a Cambodian tribe. They had to flee for their lives in the early 70's when the
Communists took over, and do their work from here with an occasional trip back there.

We take God's word so for granted. Lord, forgive me.

Jeanette, so true. How many Bibles do I have while so many people who want one can't have one?
